Online photography platform Picfair has announced the winners of its Urban Wildlife Photography Awards for 2022, which celebrates photos of those who turned to document their local wildlife when travel restrictions were in full force.

Isaac Wright was arrested in January for operating the Instagram account DrifterShoots, where photos show him trespassing and breaking into multiple buildings to capture dramatic images. He is now selling those photos as NFTs.

UK-based photographer Bertil Nilsson's project "Intersections" is a blend of two photographic subjects: urban landscapes and dance.

The idea of ‘average’ is strange, especially when it’s put into real-world situations and memories. Photographer Michael Salisbury is a determined Chicagoan with a desire to slow down and capture the world around him in the most vivid and compositional of ways. Metaphysics of an Urban Landscape is an ongoing series of photographs by Milan-based photographer Gabriele Croppi that features high-contrast, black-and-white photographs of major cities around the world. His images often feature a single subject illuminated by a slice of sunlight in front of a background filled with shadows and negative space. His photographs of New York City are especially striking, as a normally chaotic city is turned into a silent play of light and darkness.

New York-based artist and storyteller Ourit Ben-Haim's Underground New York Public Library project first began as sketches of rough photographs of people reading on trains. The photos are unrefined and voyeuristic, like reading over a stranger's shoulder.

"The Untitled Project" by photographer Matt Siber features urban scenes with all traces of text stripped away and reconstructed in a separate frame. Siber shot the original images in North America, Europe, and China over the past nine years.
